THE DRAMATIC ART SOCIETY was founded in 2016. The Society is put in place on the sincere belief that every child is naturally intellectually inquisitive and altruistic to the process of Play-Making, Creation, and Production. Academically Grounded Pedagogical Approach to Curriculum Development and Teaching.

THE ROSELYN THEATRE FOUNDATION is dedicated to the enlightenment of the Human Spirit and the practice of Artistic Tradition and Education in Dramatic Arts for Children Around the World. Acting is the Organic, Creative Expression of Yourself as Someone Else. The Vision is to provide programming that inspires confidence that leads to Artistic and Academic Excellence.

THE ROSELYN THEATRE SCHOOL MISSION For Decades, Arts and Theatre Professionals have worked on Creating New Avenues of Inclusive Education for their Students coming from all Backgrounds. This Effort has proved to be Life-Changing for both the Teachers and Students, alike. From Steven Seidel, at the Harvard School of Education to Billy Porter, A Tony-Winning Broadway Star. It became apparent to many in Theatre Education over time how Quickly Small Groups that encouraged Team-Building, Imagination and Role-Play empowered Young People, to whom many also sought guidance to be Artists. These Opportunities Offered Young People the experience of a Community that believed in encouraging each other to Trust Themselves and Live in Creativity with One Another.

THE ROSELYN YOUNG AUDIENCES AWARDS 24kt Gold Roses are awarded to Thespians who show Exceptional Talent — Best Director, Playwright, Actor, and so on.

Dramatic Art Society Drama Club. Students will create a Devised Full Production Play written and produced by the class. Students will be required to read a Assigned Published Play prior to coming to each class for Discussion. Students participate in Original Dramatic Activities including the Works of Viola Spolin.

The Roselyn Dramatic Art Society Play Festival. Upper School Students are encouraged to submit a One-Act or Full-Length Play. This includes recommendation from a Drama Teacher or a Sponsor of the International Thespian Society. Staged Reading Conclusion.
