The One Black Sheep & Peter Pan:
As a Young Adult – looking back do I remember the life changing values and lessons the story encourages every child to experience and believe. “As long as you believe you can fly, you will!” Peter tells the children. The story lives up to the power of the theatre in this way. Naturally, a story set in the genre of fantasy and adventure, the audience is guided into another world, thus organically suspending their disbelief as their imaginations are encouraged to take them wherever they choose to go and whatever they would like to happen is possible. All it takes is… Fairy Dust.
